When you measure your dog for their house collar, measure at the base of the neck just above the shoulders and ensure that it will slip over your dog's head and hang slightly loosely on the neck.
 
For longer haired pets you may want to add on an additional 3cm so that the Pom Poms are visible and not lost in the fur.
